As the owner of a small Toronto business that is very much a neighbourhood business where we find that our friends and customers congregate and gather, we feel that it is our responsibility to be respectful of the current situation that we are all experiencing and close our doors until March 25th. At that time we will reassess the climate and make another decision as to whether we remain closed. On a personal note, as a member of the Bloor West community for the past 59 years, this is deeply personal to me and I want to assure that my customers are safe and we are respecting the call for social distancing.
Our website is updated with our current inventory and we will be checking messages and voicemails regularly. Should you wish to make a purchase we would be happy to facilitate that for you and provide a curb side pick up or free local delivery. Stay Safe and Healthy.

Changing Our Nest

The holiday season for us begins November 1 to the end of December and as many of you know we completely transform our shop for the season bringing in giftware for everyone in the family, accessories and furniture for every room in the house as well as all the decorative holiday accents to transform your own homes. We will begin on Sunday October 27th and Reopen Friday November 1, 2019.

We are saddened to report that our beloved little cottage/garage in the back of the store was lost in a recent electrical fire.
With its wide planked wooden floors and old beamed ceiling, this peaceful 100 year old garage had never actually been used as a such, but as an upholstery workshop by its original owner.
We know many of you loved to spend time in that unique little space as much as we enjoyed presenting it to you every year.
Once the dust settles we will let you know more about its ultimate fate.
